I am the Master!
I got my final results for my Master's degree today. I'm not sure whether I've got an Attila or a Desmond, as I'm borderline and I don't have my first year results to hand. Fuck though, I passed and I'll never have to write a thesis again. I can now look forward to my graduation in March.

hey wait, you mean the grade you get is only for second year? surely not?
No, I didn't actually say that. Like you, I presume the overall grade is for the entire degree, not only the second year. I meant that I'm guessing that I have a 2.1 because I couldn't remember exactly my first year results. My transcript said, "Second class honours". It didn't specify which grade.
