Perhaps, but Hitler is in living memory and not some distant historical figure. People in India and other parts of the world must know soemthing about him and what the Nazis did. The likes of Idi Amin, Tojo or even Stalin may not elicit any strong emotional reponses from many in the West, but I don't think anyone would dream of naming their business after them!
Ian, I think you're right actually. Whilst shopping in Bangkok, I came across a pop art portrait of old Adolf! It was part of a series of portraits of iconic figures of recent years by a Thai artist.
